Each year we build a new robot for competition. Because of limited funding, we disassemble and salvage many parts from the previous year’s robot. We like to keep each year's robot for demonstrations the following year while we build our new robot. Additionally we need spare parts for our robot in the event something break which does happen occasionally each year. And, ever year technology changes so we need new types of parts.
